Job summary

Microchip Technology's Oregon campus in Gresham is seeking a qualified Senior Engineer I-Test (Parametric) to join our Yield Engineering team. You will perform wafer-level parametric measurements, analyze device characterization data, and generate reports that drive yield improvements.

The role requires a strong background in electrical engineering or physics, 5–7.5 years in semiconductor testing, and experience with data analysis and scripting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform and coordinate wafer-level parametric and reliability measurements.
• Analyze device characterization data and generate parametric summaries.
• Prepare yield and reliability reports and test structure validation.
• Collaborate with Yield Engineering to improve processes.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform and coordinate wafer level measurements of semiconductor devices for parametric, functional and reliability purposes.
• Process and analyze device characterization data
• Perform detailed statistical analysis on parametric, functional and reliability data
• Test structure layout, validation and testing.
• Generate parametric summaries, yield and reliability reports

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics
• 5-7.5 years of experience
• Knowledge of semiconductor devices
• Knowledge of circuit schematic design and analysis
• Experience/education with data analysis and data visualization
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Python
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of data plotting tools like JMP and R desired
• Experience/education with LabVIEW desired
