The SCG-FW division of Microchip Technology that design & develop ECs for the major computer manufacturers is looking for a Senior Engineer with 5-7 years experience for our Hauppauge office. Your major responsibilities include understanding the specification. Getting hands on existing products for the flow and design of FW Bootloader. Unit test FW features added for the new products as per specification. Involving the development of Test EC APP firmware (FW), software utilities, and the design and debug of the application in test hardware such as FPGA or evaluation boards for the Bootloader functional checks. You will be developing the FW & SW tests suits for the embedded processor (ARM) as well as the functional blocks (ex. SPI, UART, SMB, crypto blocks, ESPI, etc.) that are featured on the chip. As a part of product development, you will be involved in resolving issues in the design, development and supporting internal groups such as Validation , Test and QA to get the part production worthy.

The annual base salary range for this position, which could be performed in the US, is $70,304 to $205,000.
*Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
