Job summary

DCS Corporation seeks a Senior Engineer I to support the NSWCDD B30 Electronic Warfare and Spectrum Operations mission, delivering senior systems engineering for Navy EW design, requirements, architecture, and modeling and simulation. You will contribute to testing and certification activities and lead complex technical tasks.

Ideal candidates bring Navy/Joint warfighting experience, active Secret with ability to obtain Top-Secret clearance, and proven leadership in multi-disciplinary programs.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor or higher degree from an accredited university in electrical engineering, engineering, systems engineering, mathematics or physical science plus 15 years of experience in engineering and systems engineering applied to Navy/Joint warfighting systems.
• Active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance.
• Experience in solving complex technical problems in design, development, system integration, test and evaluation, power and cooling, C2 architectures, and Radar/ EW systems.
• 7 years of professional experience in research, development, test and evaluation.
• Experience in MBSE tools (Magic Draw/Cameo, DOORS) and threat modeling.
• Agile methodology.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level systems engineering support for Navy EW system design, requirements, architecture, modeling and simulation, and testing.
• Lead integration and certification efforts for Electronic Warfare Navy/Marine programs.
• Develop, maintain and verify system requirements, architecture definitions, and interfaces.
• Perform model-based systems engineering activities and tool-driven development.

DCS is seeking Senior Engineer I professionals to support the NSWCDD B30 Electronic Warfare and Spectrum Operations (EWSO) mission. These positions will provide senior-level systems engineering support for Navy EW system design, requirements, architecture, modeling and simulation, combat-system integration, testing, and certification. Ideal candidates bring extensive Navy or Joint warfighting-system experience and strong technical leadership.

Required Skills:

Demonstrated experience and knowledge in solving complex technical problems in the design, development, and system integration cycle, Test and Evaluation, power and cooling solutions, command and control architectures, digital and analog systems, signal generation related to environment, Radar Systems Engineering Principles, and control systems with the platform.

7 years of professional experience in research, development, test and evaluation.

Demonstrate experience in the following areas:

• Systems engineering processes regarding weapon systems requirements/concept development, weapons systems design/engineering, systems computer program development, integration, test, and certification processes (safety and system), information assurance, safety and engineering requirements, model based system engineering, simulation development, and ability to use and populate model based system engineering tools (Magic Draw/Cameo, Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS), etc).
• Military standards/instructions, interface development, architectures, states & modes, functional flow diagrams, and engagement sequencing.
• Requirements definition, traceability, verification, generation of system performance, system specifications, system architecture development (functional, physical, behavioral), and definition of system interfaces, conducting system trade studies, and generation of functional requirements.
• Developing, designing, integrating, maintaining and testing Electronic Warfare Navy/Marine Corp systems.
• Modeling and Simulation of related threats, EW systems, and engagement methodologies/kill chains.
• Combat system integration and system architecture.
• Agile methodology.
