Pratt & Whitney Puerto Rico (PWPR) Auxiliary Power Units (APU) Engineering is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to support APU and Turbojet (TJ) programs across Pratt & Whitney. The PWPR APU Engineering team provides Project Engineering, Design Engineering, and Product Definition services for APU and TJ products in military and commercial programs across all lifecycle phases, from Development through Production and Sustainment. Additionally, the PWPR APU Engineering team supports these engineering services for all hardware within the APU and TJ programs, exposing our engineers to all types of hardware. As a Senior Design Engineer on our team, you will be involved in various design activities related to APU and TJ programs for military and commercial applications. The Senior Design Engineer provides advanced engineering judgment for quality notifications, supplier technical inquiries, producibility investigations, and engineering change activity. Additionally, the engineer will mentor early career engineers, and contribute to improving product robustness, manufacturability, and lifecycle performance.
