Job summary

Bellese Technologies is seeking an Engineer II in the United States to influence multiple projects, design reliable features, and reduce technical debt. You will collaborate on backend and frontend interfaces, APIs, and data models while following test-driven development in a remote-first environment.

The role requires a BS in CS/CE or related field, strong Python and Spark experience, data modeling, ETL, CI/CD familiarity, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Strong experience with Python and Apache Spark.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL, orchestration and distributed computing.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in analytic programming, data extraction, querying databases/data warehouses and data analysis.
• Experience utilizing CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Leverage test-driven development to deliver backend systems and user interfaces to ease development and integration between them.
• Contribute to the development of APIs, specifications, and data models to facilitate integration with frontend applications and third-party systems.
• Design, implement, and maintain data interactions; optimize data operations for performance, scalability, and data security.
• Design and develop user interfaces informed by UX designs meeting customer needs.
• Understand and contribute to functional and non-functional automated testing suites.
