Job summary

Core AI Consulting Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer – Blockchain Platforms in San Francisco to build and integrate the blockchain infrastructure for custody, tokenization, and related workflows.

You will own Layer-1 integration, wallet services, and cross-chain components while collaborating with custody and security teams to ensure production-ready reliability. You will design scalable backend services, observability, and data pipelines, and apply AI-enabled tooling to accelerate protocol

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering hands-on experience building or integrating blockchain, cryptocurrency, or distributed ledger systems.
• Strong understanding of Layer-1 protocols, transaction lifecycles, finality, forks, reorganizations, and event propagation.
• Proficiency in developing backend services, APIs, event-driven systems, and infrastructure components.

Responsibilities

• Integrate enterprise platforms with Layer-1 blockchains and evaluate protocols based on custody, scalability, security, and resilience requirements.
• Design and build blockchain infrastructure services, including indexers, event processors, chain-data APIs, observability tools, and cross-chain components.
• Develop wallet services and transaction pipelines covering transaction creation, signing, submission, monitoring, and reconciliation.
• Integrate wallet services with MPC, HSM, key management, and signing platforms.
• Design for chain-specific conditions such as finality, forks, reorganizations, network congestion, and transaction failures.
• Develop safe patterns for interacting with smart contracts, token standards, and blockchain networks.
• Ensure blockchain data pipelines and services are accurate, scalable, testable, observable, and auditable.
• Support troubleshooting, incident response, failure recovery, and root-cause analysis across distributed blockchain environments.
• Use generative and agentic AI tools to accelerate protocol analysis, development, testing, documentation, and knowledge sharing.

Job description

We are seeking a Senior Engineer – Blockchain Platforms to build and integrate the blockchain infrastructure supporting digital asset custody and tokenization platforms. This hands-on role focuses on Layer-1 blockchain integration, core infrastructure services, wallet engineering, and custody-related blockchain workflows. The engineer will collaborate with custody and security teams to ensure blockchain interactions are secure, reliable, observable, and production-ready.

• Strong expereince with smart contracts, token standards, and cross-chain interoperability.
• Proficiency with integrating with MPC, HSM, key management, or digital asset custody platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in distributed, asynchronous, and security-sensitive environments.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, custody, cybersecurity, risk, and platform teams.
• Strong experince in Go, Java, Rust, Python, or a comparable programming language.
• Experience using generative or agentic AI tools to support complex software engineering workflows is beneficial.
