Job summary

Kforce Inc. in Tampa, FL seeks a Senior Engineer Applications Development - AI to design, develop, and maintain AI-enabled applications using Microsoft AI toolsets such as Copilot Studio and Azure AI.

You will work within our Technology Applications Development team to deliver scalable solutions. Candidates should have a BS in CS or related field and at least 3+ years of software development focusing on AI, automation, or cloud-based solutions, with strong Python, React, and DevOps experience.

Responsibilities

• Integrate AI models into production applications and ensure CI/CD pipelines.
• Document technical approaches and provide clear stakeholder updates.

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Tampa, FL that is seeking a Senior Engineer Applications Development - AI. As part of our Technology Applications Development team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining applications with Microsoft's AI toolset, including Copilot Studio, Azure AI.

Requirements

• B.S. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in software development with a focus on AI, automation, or cloud based solutions
• Experience developing in Python, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and PowerShell
• Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks and integration of AI models into applications
• Understanding AI/ML concepts, including NLP, chatbot development, and automation
• Strong knowledge of DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based workflows
• Team player who is ambitious and motivated
• Excellent interpersonal skills and patience working with others
• Must be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Must have excellent customer service skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write concise, accurate and readable technical documentation and reports
• Successful track record of working in an IT development team
• Demonstrate a high level of technical expertise and ability
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft AI and cloud platforms, including: Azure AI services (OpenAI, Cognitive Services, Machine Learning, Bot Services), Microsoft Graph API

Salary

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
