West Monroe seeks an Experienced Consultant to join our Energy & Utilities practice in Los Angeles or San Francisco. You will work with clients and cross-functional teams to solve complex business and technology challenges across the energy industry.

In this role, you will own workstreams, analyze processes, and deliver client-ready recommendations. Travel 50–75% annually and help advance our AI-enabled consulting approach.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant consulting, energy and utilities experience.
• Experience in energy and utilities domains (grid modernization, utilities operations, energy transition).
• Experience creating client-ready deliverables.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to travel 50–75% annually.
• Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support energy and utility clients on strategic, operational, digital, and technology transformation initiatives.
• Analyze processes, operating models, customer needs, technology capabilities, and data to identify opportunities and develop actionable recommendations.
• Own defined workstreams and deliverables, managing priorities and producing client-ready work.
• Facilitate interviews, workshops, and sessions to gather requirements and align stakeholders on solutions.
• Clearly articulate client business value and the impact of recommendations.
• Identify risks, issues, and dependencies; collaborate to resolve challenges.
• Build knowledge of the energy and utilities industry trends and technologies.
• Contribute to proposals, pursuit materials, and business development activities.
• Share knowledge from engagements to improve tools, templates, and methodologies.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis and synthesize insights for clients.
