Job summary

NextEra Energy Marketing, LLC seeks a strategic energy trader to deliver adjusted earnings by managing a portfolio of wholesale power derivatives, including load following and energy products. The role leads deal teams across multiple desks and oversees the end-to-end process from inception to booking, partnering with Origination on structured transactions to maximize value and protections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• 4+ years of experience in energy trading or related field.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and reports profit and loss for assigned transactions.
• Works with Origination and Structuring to develop and close structured full requirement transactions.
• Manages bidding processes for assigned markets.
• Ensures full requirement activity is accurately reported.
• Creates hedge strategies and manages risk within targets.
• Performs ad hoc market analysis to support strategy and decisions.
• Develops detailed presentations for internal and external customers.
