Qualifications

• Proven track record in achieving profit targets in volatile energy markets.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and financial modeling skills.
• Knowledge of energy market structures, trading mechanisms, and regulatory frameworks.
• Proficiency with trading platforms and market data providers (Bloomberg, Refinitiv).
• Excellent decision-making under pressure and risk tolerance.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute trading strategies for electricity, natural gas, and other energy commodities in physical and financial markets.
• Monitor market trends and indicators to identify opportunities and risks.
• Develop quantitative and qualitative trading models and strategies.
• Manage and optimize the energy portfolio to meet profit targets and manage price risk.
• Conduct market analysis including supply/demand forecasts and price volatility assessments.
• Build relationships with brokers, counterparties, and market participants.
