Job summary

Accenture is seeking a senior Energy Isolation specialist to implement and oversee energy isolation controls for data-center projects on client sites. You will apply SPS-101 standards and coordinate with the Energy Marshal and site teams.

This role requires at least eight years in DC construction and commissioning, strong audit capabilities, and the ability to translate complex electrical concepts to diverse audiences. On-site work with flexible in-person time.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in DC construction and commissioning standards and practices.
• Experience with SPS-101 or equivalent energy isolation standards preferred.
• Ability to audit site practices against written standards.
• Strong ability to interpret electrical drawings and system redundancies.

Responsibilities

• Implement the Energy Isolation Program using SPS-101 standards.
• Establish and manage an Energy Isolation assurance process.
• Participate in High-Risk Activity planning meetings.
• Ensure approval process for Energy Isolation procedures.
• Collaborate to develop and manage Energy Isolation Permit process.
• Review SOWs, SOPs, and scripts to identify energy sources.
• Verify personnel qualifications, training, and PPE compliance.
• Delegate qualified alternates for multi-shift energization.
• Maintain alignment with SPS-101 and coordinate with site teams.
• On-site at client site to enable delivery and client relationships.
• Some in-person time for collaboration; flexible to work-life needs.
