Job summary

RBC Capital Markets, LLC is seeking a Senior Employee Relations Advisor, US Wealth Management to support HR partners and managers on workplace issues and risk management. You will collaborate with the Global Employee Relations team to provide expert guidance, manage investigations, and develop tools and training to reinforce RBC's Blueprint and policies.

The role requires knowledge of US employment law, an undergraduate degree (JD preferred), and strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of US employment law and regulatory requirements.
• Undergraduate degree; postgraduate degree and/or professional licensing (J.D.) preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong listening and responding skills.
• Critical and strategic thinking with translation to action.

Responsibilities

• Serve as escalation point and subject-matter expert for Employee Relations and HR teams.
• Effectively manage complex employee relations investigations and related processes.
• Support development of tools, processes and learning programs for compliance and self-serve capability.
• Develop deep expertise in applicable employment laws and regulations.
• Ensure employees understand RBC's Blueprint and reinforce targeted behaviors.
