Job summary

Red Alpha is looking for an Emerging Threats Cyber Analyst to support cybersecurity efforts. You will analyze emerging threats and vulnerabilities, contributing to the protection of critical U.S. systems.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of relevant experience in cybersecurity or intelligence analysis. A competitive salary range of $150,000 - $225,000 is offered along with comprehensive benefits including health insurance and generous time off.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience including 3+ years in cybersecurity, intelligence analysis, or security operations.
• Experience with network traffic and packet analysis using TCP/IP protocols.
• Knowledge of developing detection signatures using Zeek and/or Snort.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze emerging cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
• Monitor OSINT and assess risks impacting critical infrastructure.
• Develop queries to identify anomalous activity using security monitoring platforms.
