Job summary

The Senior Emerging Markets Research Associate at Dodge & Cox will work with senior analysts to identify and research compelling EM investment opportunities. You will build financial models, analyze company fundamentals, and prepare presentation materials for investment discussions.

Applicants should have 2–4 years of buy-side research experience, a BA/BS with quantitative coursework, and strong data skills.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of combined experience working for an investment manager, investment bank, or a substantially similar experience.
• At least 2 years of experience doing fundamental company level research for an investment manager.
• Four-year college degree (B.A. or B.S.) with an excellent academic record that includes quantitative coursework
• Strong ability to collect and synthesize quantitative and qualitative data
• Knowledge of global equity markets, especially in developing economies
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and computer skills
• Experience applying AI tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot) to research workflows

The Senior Emerging Markets Research Associate will work with senior analysts and members of the Dodge & Cox investment team in identifying, researching and advocating for emerging market companies.Dodge & Cox's well-established reputation provides us with unparalleled access to corporate management teams.
