County of San Diego is seeking a Senior Emergency Services Coordinator to lead planning and analysis for medical/health disaster emergency plans and to develop policies for the County's emergency response and recovery operations.
You will coordinate inter-jurisdictional drills, serve as a rotational Duty Officer for the MHOAC program, and manage regional working groups to strengthen disaster readiness across the Operational Area.

The starting salary for this position will be based on the candidate’s qualifications at time of appointment.
June 2027 – 3.57% increase to base pay (3.0% Across-the-Board + .57% Market Adjustment)
The Public Health Preparedness and Response unit is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Senior Emergency Services Coordinator. The Senior Emergency Services Coordinator is responsible for planning and analyzing medical/health disaster emergency plans which lead to the development and implementation of County operational area policies and programs governing the County's emergency response and recovery operations (i.e., disaster preparedness, rescue and recovery, evacuations and shelter operations).
In addition, the Senior Emergency Services Coordinatoralso coordinates emergency and disaster preparedness activities such as drills and exercises that are inter-jurisdictional and regional in scope and serves, on a rotational basis, as a Duty Officer responsible for directing/coordinating the County's response to any medical or health related large-scale emergency or disaster that impacts the San Diego County Operational Area.
