Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains emergency plans, policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Plans, coordinates, and conducts emergency management training and drills.
• Leads the emergency mass communication system implementation.
• Coordinates communication of emergency information across the campus.
• Ensures compliance with emergency management requirements.
• Responds to emergency incidents on campus.
• Responsible for developing environmental and safety guidelines.
• Conducts routine surveillance and inspection of the facility.
• Assures the annual revision of Safety and Emergency Management plans.
• Conducts required safety and emergency drills.
• Leads Safety Council/Committee and advises Safety Teams.
• Reports Safety Council activities to Quality Management Council.
