Job summary
InFocus Urgent Care is seeking a Senior Physician Assistant with a strong Emergency Medicine background to join our Princeton Junction, NJ team. This full-time role requires leadership in a high-acuity urgent care setting and a commitment to quality patient care.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years in ED or busy urgent care, NJ PA licensure, NCCPA certification, and active DEA/NPI numbers. Weekend and holiday shifts are part of the rotating schedule.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Emergency Department or high-volume Urgent Care setting.
- Active Physician Assistant license in the state of New Jersey.
- Current NCCPA certification, DEA, and NPI numbers.
- This is a full-time position with weekend and holiday requirements on a rotating schedule.
Responsibilities
- Acute care: diagnose and treat a wide range of patient presentations from minor illnesses to complex injuries.
- Clinical procedures: proficiency in ER-level procedures such as advanced suturing, splinting/orthopedic reductions, I&Ds, and foreign body removal.
- Diagnostic interpretation: independently interpret X-rays, EKGs, and lab results.
- Leadership: serve as lead clinical provider on-site to ensure safety, efficiency, and patient outcomes.
