Job summary

MicroHealth is seeking a Principal Advisor - Emergency Management to serve as the principal operational bridge between the Bureau of Diplomatic Technology's data platforms and the Department's mission elements, including medical operations, State Operations, Diplomatic Security, and interagency crisis response partners.

This on-site role requires Top Secret/SCI eligibility, extensive emergency management experience, and the ability to translate requirements into platform capabilities and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management, Homeland Security, or related field.
• Graduate-level coursework or Master's degree preferred.
• Experience in emergency management, crisis response, and readiness assessment with high-consequence environments.

Responsibilities

• Bridge between enterprise data platforms and Department mission elements.
• Assess mission readiness across a global footprint and identify capability gaps.
• Translate field requirements into platform development input and executive products.
• Produce formal assessments, readiness scorecards, and gap analyses.
• Travel domestically and internationally up to 25% for assessments and coordination.
• Advise on emergency action planning and continuity of operations.
