Job summary

Eurofins USA Consumer Product Testing is seeking an EMC Test Engineer to generate compliant test results and verify instrument accuracy. You will follow product family standards and document data daily in METrak, ensuring reports reflect precise measurements and timely uploads.

You will work with EMI receivers, LISN, antennas, and signal generators, coordinating with internal teams and clients while maintaining high quality and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

5 years of experience with worldwide EMC requirements based on CISPR, FCC, ISO, IEC/EN standards.
Experience with lab equipment including EMI receiver, antenna, LISN, signal generator, ESD/EFT/Surge generator.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in a professional setting.
Ability to perform multiple tasks and work independently.

Responsibilities

Generate valid and accurate EMC test results in accordance with CISPR, FCC, ISO, ETSI and IEC/EN standards.
Follow the specific Product / Family / Particular standards and (C63.4) for all EMC tests.
Perform verification on test instruments to ensure accuracy and quality.
Follow internal quality processes and procedures.
Update METrak daily for project related tasks.
Complete and upload project data sheets to METrak daily.
Review EMC test reports to ensure accuracy.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

Generate valid and accurate EMC test results in accordance with CISPR, FCC, ISO, ETSI and IEC/EN standards.
Follow the specific Product / Family / Particular standards and (C63.4) for all EMC tests.
Perform verification on test instruments to ensure accuracy and quality.
Follow internal quality processes and procedures.
Update METrak daily for project related tasks
Complete and upload project data sheets to METrak daily
Review EMC test reports to ensure accuracy.

As-needed Responsibilities

Contribute to team efforts of customer arrivals, scheduling, and conflict resolution
Other duties as deemed appropriate by management and for which management believes adequate experience exists, or for which knowledge can be easily obtained to perform such duties
Travel as needed according to company guidelines

Qualifications

5 years of experience with worldwide EMC requirements based on CISPR, FCC, ISO, IEC/EN standards.
Experience with different lab equipment: EMI receiver, antenna, LISN, signal generator, ESD/EFT/Surge generator.
Strong written and verbal communications skills including the ability to communicate effectively in a group setting with colleagues and clients.
Ability to perform multiple tasks.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet or exceed deadlines.
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or similar discipline.
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated attention to details and good documentation skills
Must have computer (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook) and office related skills

Additional Information

Compensation

$45.67-$60.10 per hour

Schedule

The position is full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
