Job summary

US Fertility is seeking a Senior Embryologist for our Orlando, FL location. The role focuses on advanced embryology techniques, quality control, and collaboration with a national physician network to advance patient care.

The successful candidate will lead lab procedures, optimize culture conditions, and perform embryo assessments while supporting continuous improvements in the IVF workflow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science.
• Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in a clinical embryology laboratory.
• Proven ability to exercise sound, independent judgment per lab protocols.

Responsibilities

• Execute and oversee quality control to ensure lab excellence.
• Prepare and maintain lab setup, media, and culture dishes.
• Perform sperm preparation and conventional insemination techniques.
• Assist with and carry out oocyte retrieval procedures.
• Conduct fertilization assessments and monitor embryo development.
• Perform embryo cryopreservation and thawing with precision.

Opportunity Overview

We have an immediate opening for a Senior Embryologist to join our team at Shady Grove Fertility in Orlando, Florida.

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Eastern time; with a weekend and holiday rotation

In this role, the Senior Embryologist will:

Qualifications and Skills Include:

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science required
• Minimum of 3+ years of hands‑on experience in a clinical embryology laboratory
• Demonstrated ability to perform complex, detail-oriented work requiring sustained focus and technical precision
• Proven ability to exercise sound, independent judgment in accordance with established laboratory protocols
• Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary clinical team
• Capacity to interpret laboratory data and assess its clinical relevance
• Proficiency with laboratory information systems and general computer applications
• Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal
• Exceptional attention to detail, along with strong organizational and interpersonal skills
