Job summary

NXP Semiconductors in San Jose (Holger Way) seeks an embedded engineer to design, develop and test wireless product software and firmware for Wi‑Fi/Bluetooth/ZigBee/Thread/Matter, focusing on ARM-based MCUs. You will implement and debug protocol stacks and collaborate with engineering and product teams across functions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
• Three (3) years of experience in job offered, Technical Lead, Embedded Engineer, or related occupation.

Responsibilities

• Perform semiconductor engineering design, development, and testing for firm products.
• Implement, integrate and debug wireless protocol stacks and MPUs.
• Lead troubleshooting to resolve complex software issues for customers.
• Design, develop and optimize embedded systems with ARM processors.
• Implement SOC hardware interfaces (Ethernet, USB, UART, SPI).
• Travel 10-15% domestically for customer onsite debugging and workshops.
