Job summary

Fortinet is seeking a Principal Embedded Software Engineer to advance secure wireless solutions. You will work across the full software lifecycle on Enterprise Wireless products, focusing on C programming, networking concepts, and feature development within a collaborative, experienced team in Sunnyvale.

Responsibilities include developing secured enterprise wireless products and features, Linux kernel/driver work for popular wifi chipsets, and implementing wireless security protocols.

Qualifications

• Proficient in C programming with strong troubleshooting ability.
• Solid understanding of networking and system design concepts.
• Experience with Linux kernel and driver development is a plus.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential.
• Familiarity with 802.11/802.1x is a plus.
