Saronic Technologies is seeking a software engineer to design, implement, and optimize software for autonomous surface vessels using NixOS. You will work with hardware engineers to integrate software and optimize communications in maritime environments.

The role requires a CS degree and at least 3 years of software engineering experience, with proficiency in C/C++ or Rust and embedded Linux. Network protocols and serial interfaces experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's or Master's in CS with at least 3 years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in C/C++ or Rust and experience with embedded Linux are essential.
• Experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP) and serial interfaces (RS-232, CAN) is advantageous.
