Job summary

AMD is seeking a senior engineer to own embedded designs for post-silicon validation and board bring-up for FPGA/SoC platforms. You will define validation strategies, bring boards from power-on to a stable platform, and write firmware and software to exercise the system.

You will debug across silicon, firmware, drivers, and OS, collaborate with architecture and software teams, and mentor teammates while ensuring production readiness for complex hardware-software solutions.

Qualifications

• Hands on embedded systems and hardware validation experience.
• Board bring-up from power-on through boot and interface bring-up.
• Strong C/C++ for bare-metal and Linux-based embedded systems on ARM/RISC-V.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive system-level validation strategy and signoffs.
• Bring up new boards and develop scripts, baremetal code, and debug flows.
• Develop validation tests and applications in baremetal and Linux; automate regression.
