Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise invites a Systems and Software Engineer to design, develop, and deliver next-generation Storage Platforms in collaboration with Firmware, Hardware, and Storage OS teams. You will work on low-level programming with C and Rust, leveraging SAS and NVMe knowledge to implement robust storage solutions.

The role requires deep expertise in embedded systems, multiple software design tools, and strong communication skills in English.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
6–10 years' experience in embedded system design/implementation for Distributed Storage systems.
Experience with C, Rust, Python.

Responsibilities

Leads multiple project teams of software systems engineers and internal and outsourced development partners through design, coding, testing and integration of complex products.
Manages and expands relationships with internal and outsourced development partners on software systems design and development.
Reviews designs for compliance with standards and provides feedback to improve quality and mitigate risk.
Provides domain-specific software systems leadership to cross-organization projects and activities.
Drives adoption of new technologies within software systems design initiatives.
Mentors less-experienced staff members.
