Stryker is seeking a Staff Embedded Software & Controls Engineer to design and develop embedded software, firmware, and control systems for complex electromechanical medical devices. You will collaborate across hardware, firmware, and systems to deliver safe, reliable solutions throughout the product lifecycle.

The role focuses on real-time embedded software in C/C++, RTOS or bare-metal platforms, with emphasis on control algorithms for sensors, actuators, and power electronics within

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 4+ years of experience designing and developing embedded software for complex electromechanical products.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded software using C/C++, bare-metal, and RTOS-based platforms.
• Develop and optimize real-time embedded control algorithms for sensors, actuators, motors, and thermal systems.
• Support embedded software architecture and integration across hardware, firmware, and system interfaces.
• Collaborate with Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, Quality, Manufacturing, and Regulatory teams.
• Translate requirements into robust embedded software and control system solutions.
• Create and maintain software architecture documentation and verification protocols.
