Job summary

A leading AI company in Seattle seeks a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer to manage the software lifecycle for field-deployed hardware. This role involves developing software for their Computer Vision systems and working closely with cross-functional teams. Candidates should have 4+ years in Embedded Linux development and proficiency in C/C++ or Rust. Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Embedded Linux development.
• Strong proficiency in C, C++ or Rust for production code.
• Deep knowledge of Operating System fundamentals for Zephyr and Linux Embedded Systems.
• Familiarity with secure boot processes and crypto elements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize a custom Yocto-based Linux distribution.
• Create and manage BitBake recipes and layers.
• Develop and debug drivers and middleware for Wi-Fi and LoRaWAN.
• Design and implement automated test frameworks using Python.
• Implement secure over-the-air update mechanisms.
