Job summary

DeWinter Group in Westbrook, ME is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead porting of critical user-space applications for embedded medical instrumentation. This onsite role focuses on embedded Linux, QT GUIs, and ARM processors to power high-precision devices.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, review existing C++ source, and drive development from prototype to production with a strong emphasis on quality and documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years embedded software engineering experience, preferably in high-precision fields.
• Experience porting applications to embedded Linux on ARM.
• Proficient in C++ with UML specifications.
• Strong debugging and source-level analysis skills.
• Ability to read/modify existing C++ code.
• Excellent collaboration in multidisciplinary teams.
