Technical Integrity, LLC in Boulder, CO is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to own hardware-near firmware, focusing on embedded Linux, C and Rust transition, with hands-on contribution. Qualifications

• Recent hands-on embedded Linux experience with kernel drivers or modules.
• 5–10+ years of embedded development with C and readiness to adopt Rust.
• Proficient in Python for tooling, automation, or testing.
• Experience designing architecture for long-term maintainability and reuse.
• Ability to diagnose hardware and software issues with debugging tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded Linux components, including drivers and kernel modules.
• Design, write and optimize efficient C firmware for resource-constrained devices.
• Collaborate to shape software architecture across generations.
• Lead transition toward Rust for systems programming.
• Own and improve CI/CD infrastructure for automated validation.
• Build Python tools for testing, diagnostics, and build automation.
• Develop bootloaders and interfaces using SPI, I2C, UART, USB.
• Work with hardware engineers on Bring-up, debugging, and validation.
• Optimize performance, memory use, and power consumption.
• Contribute to code reviews and architecture discussions.
