Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a CPU Power Management Firmware Developer to drive firmware design and verification for pre- and post-silicon environments across Qualcomm CPUs.

You will collaborate across teams on platform bring-up, power management, and driver support, engaging with open-source communities and driving firmware features. Qualifications

• BS/BEng in Electrical, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with 5+ years in embedded firmware.
• Demonstrates initiative with technical leadership and self-starting work style.
• Proficient in C and assembly with strong debugging skills.
• Experience driving drivers in RTOS or OS kernel environments.
• Experience with embedded OSes such as Zephyr, eCos, uC/OS, or FreeRTOS.
• Familiar with pre-silicon environments including simulators and FPGA emulation.
• Experience defining interprocessor communication interfaces between embedded controllers and platforms.
• Familiarity with ARM v8 architecture; ARMV8 experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive firmware design, implementation and verification in pre- and post-silicon environments.
• Assist definition of Power Management solutions for Qualcomm CPUs.
• Engage with open-source communities to contribute driver and firmware support.
• Assist in identifying skills requirements and aid in hiring, collaborating on platform bring-up and diags.
