Job summary

Amoria Bond is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer (m/f/d) to join a Delft-based deep-tech project focused on control electronics and software between quantum processors and hardware systems. The role involves hands-on embedded C/C++ development, real-time concerns, and collaboration across FPGA, electronics and hardware teams.

You will maintain and optimize Linux-based software, develop low-level drivers, and ensure robust performance of the control stack.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems or comparable experience.
• Solid experience in embedded C/C++ development.
• Exposure to FPGA-adjacent or hardware-interfacing software, ideally with embedded Linux.
• Python experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with SPI, I2C, UART.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software in C/C++ interfacing with custom control electronics.
• Collaborate with FPGA, electronics, and hardware teams on integration.
• Maintain embedded Linux-based software architectures.
• Build and optimize low-level drivers and communication interfaces.
• Support real-time performance across the control stack.
• Debug and troubleshoot across the hardware/software stack.
