Apple Inc. is seeking an extraordinary Embedded Software Engineer to drive pioneering technologies for camera and ISP pipelines. You will work on core image signal processing and hardware components, with autonomy and collaboration across teams in Sunnyvale, CA.

The role involves developing drivers, optimizing performance, and partnering with Silicon Design, QA, and ML teams in a fast-paced environment. A BS with 10+ years of experience is required, and base pay ranges from $184,700 to $324,800

Qualificações

• BS and 10+ years of industry experience.
• Proficiency in C/C++.
• Proficiency in developing multi-thread software within embedded RTOS.
• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools to speed up software development, debugging and testing.

Responsabilidades

• Develop low level device drivers for image processing pipeline in embedded systems for the latest SoC blocks and chipsets.
• Work with high level software clients to understand requirements, design, implement and test the camera software stack.
• Design and implement camera features in embedded systems and define features and communication protocols with implementation specs.
• Optimize system performance in terms of power, usage, latency, and jitter.
• Support HW validation and factory testing and implement features to assist hardware testing and diagnosis.
