Job summary

Judge Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Maple Grove, MN. The role focuses on Munitions software, developing embedded, real-time C code and contributing to multiple contracts under the Munitions IPT Lead.

The engineer will work under CMS Electrical Software and Controls, reporting to a section manager and matrixed to IPT leads. Requires strong design, RTOS/bare-metal, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline plus 5 years relevant experience; or a master’s degree and 3 years of experience; or a Ph.D. and 1 years of experience.
• Must be highly skilled in object-oriented design and C embedded software development.
• Must have experience with RTOS and/or bare-metal hard real-time application development.
• Practical knowledge of software engineering processes.
• Familiarity with Ethernet communications.
• Contemporary design/development experience.
• Exceptional communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• This position is for a senior software engineer in the area of Munitions, to develop software contributing to a subset of the contracts/work directives currently under the direction of the Munitions Software IPT Lead.
• The software engineer will report to a section manager within the CMS Electrical Software and Controls Directorate and will be matrixed to the Munitions Software IPT Lead.
• Support one or two of the Munitions Program Engineering Managers on efforts limited to one or two specific contracts or work directives within the munitions team’s portfolio of products
