Job summary

Trilyon, Inc. is seeking an Embedded C++ Developer to join our Dallas team for a long-term contract. The candidate will lead architecture, design, prototyping, software development, code review, and unit testing for embedded devices using C/C++ and embedded Linux.

The role requires strong experience with BSPs, device drivers, IPC/RPC, multithreading, and memory/performance profiling to deliver high-performance embedded systems. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• 6–8 years hands-on embedded systems and low-level software development.
• Expertise in C, C++ (modern standards), embedded Linux, and device drivers.
• Strong multithreading, algorithms, IPC, RPC, and build systems.
• Preferred IP-based protocols (HTTP, TLS, REST, WebSockets, JSON, Protobufs, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to architecture, design, prototyping, software development, code review, and unit testing for embedded devices.
• Develop and maintain high-performance embedded systems software using C, C++, and embedded Linux.
• Work with Linux subsystems, BSPs, and custom device drivers.
• Utilize profiling tools to optimize memory and performance.
• Implement multithreading, IPC, RPC, and various communication paradigms.
