The Principal Applications Engineer will deliver hardware, software, and documentation support to customers, design and debug embedded systems, and collaborate with engineering and production teams.

The role emphasizes deep Linux expertise, practical Android knowledge, BSP development, and strong customer interaction to ensure the highest level of satisfaction.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field with 12 years as an applications engineer (or MS with 8 years)
• Experience with logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and JTAG debuggers
• Proficient in Linux; strong Android knowledge; BSP development experience

Responsibilities

• Design embedded processor platforms with USB, HDMI, LVDS, MIPI-DSI/CSI, Ethernet, Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, CAN, SPI, UART
• Build BSPs and drivers for Linux, Android, FreeRTOS
• Lead defect investigations and debugging across hardware/software
• Perform system-level schematic reviews with emphasis on software interaction
• Define product design requirements and support multiple concurrent projects
• Prepare technical trainings for teams, partners, and customers
• Maintain and improve customer-facing documentation and support portals
