Job summary

Golden Technology in Florence, SC is seeking a Senior Systems Electrical Engineer on a long-term on-site contract. The role focuses on system engineering support for elevator programs, ensuring safety, code compliance, and robust architecture across sub-systems.

You will lead requirements management, system integration, and documentation efforts, including DFMEA and engineering changes, with close collaboration across value streams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in EE.
• 5+ years engineering experience.
• Strong architecture and system interaction matrix understanding.
• Local/national Code compliance documentation experience.
• Strong communications and leadership skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
• Engineering change implementation process experience.
• Experience creating project documentation to support compliance to internal and external requirements (test reports, drawings, specs).
• Experience with Root cause analysis (DFMEA, 6sigma, etc)
• Requirements Management with team and stakeholders.
• Capable of creating system wiring diagrams with E3 or similar tools.
• Due to client requirements, US Permanent Residency or ship is required.

Responsibilities

• Requirements management
• System integration studies and validation
• Program timeline management (system tasks)
• Timely delivery of all systems documentation required for a program
• Run performance studies, cost benefit analysis, prototyping, test plans, or code requirement studies of all affected sub-system(s)
• Collect elevator requirements from all stakeholders and de-compose these into requirements for the specific sub-systems
• Interface with multiple value streams and stakeholders to ensure work compliance
• Develop/calculate Performance Envelopes (Duty Tables)
• Support control systems, machines, and drives integration
• Support high power transformer qualification and integration including step up, isolation, and step down
• Create project documentation to support compliance to internal and external requirements (test reports, drawings, specs)
• Support root cause analysis activities (DFMEA, 6sigma, etc)
• Manage requirements with team and stakeholders
• Create system wiring diagrams with E3 or similar tools
• Implement Engineering Change notices and related engineering implementation processes
