Responsibilities

• Oversee Cal/OSHA Elevator Unit and local Elevator Unit District Offices.
• Supervise staff (Office Support, Analysts, Safety Engineers) and provide leadership.
• Develop and implement safety engineering, inspection, and permitting policies for elevators and conveyances.
• Ensure staff operate in accordance with DIR-DOSH directives, policies, and procedures, and promote DIR-DOSH goals.
• Travel statewide to support units and ensure program effectiveness.
