Job summary

Echo Neurotechnologies is seeking a hands-on Senior Electronics Technician to join a fast-paced, bench-focused team working on cutting-edge medical technology. Strong practical experience and a bias for precision are essential as formal degrees are not required.

You will solder, rework, and test PCBs, collaborate with engineers, and help drive rapid design iterations in a startup setting. Join us to contribute directly to patient-impact projects.

Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with fine-pitch soldering and PCB rework.
  • Ability to work under a microscope on small components with high precision.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
  • Experience with electronics testing and lab equipment.
  • Self-starter comfortable at the bench in a startup environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform soldering and rework on PCBs, including 0201 discretes and fine-pitch BGAs under a microscope.
  • Execute board modifications, debug issues, and support rapid design iterations.
  • Follow detailed work instructions, schematics, and test procedures with high accuracy.
  • Run functional tests on incoming and assembled hardware; document results clearly.
  • Support incoming inspection and ensure hardware meets quality standards.
  • Assist with lab operations, including organization, equipment upkeep, and basic lab management.
  • Calibrate and maintain test equipment; coordinate with external vendors as needed.
  • Partner closely with engineers to troubleshoot issues and improve designs.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a hands-on Senior Electronics Technician who thrives in a fast-paced, bench-focused environment. What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

  • Self-starter who’s comfortable at the bench and adapting in a startup environment
Nice To Have
  • Experience in a regulated environment, especially medical devices
  • Familiarity with IPC-A-610, IPC-A-600, IPC-7711, IPC-7721, IPC-6012, and IPC-6013
  • Exposure to equipment calibration or lab coordination
Salary

$100,000 - $115,000 USD
