This hands-on role supports cross-functional engineering teams through development, testing, manufacturing, and support phases of new product initiatives. Responsibilities include design verification, hardware prototyping, and test automation, with opportunities to mentor junior technicians and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Electronics Technology or related field is required.
• Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA.
• 3+ years testing and repairing power electronics at the component level; hands-on with electronics equipment.
• Proficiency in Ohm’s law, power calculations, series/parallel circuits.
• Experience soldering/reworking SMT and through-hole circuits.

Responsibilities

• Conduct extensive design verification and testing of analog and digital circuits.
• Product testing including user interfaces and communication protocols.
• Hardware prototyping, soldering, repairing, and troubleshooting circuit blocks.
• Set up and perform product qualification testing in a lab.
• Develop test automation scripts for lab instruments.
• Assist in transitioning designs from engineering into manufacturing.
• Coach or mentor other technicians.
• Execute process and product improvement projects.
