Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking an Electronics Technician Maintenance III to support the Warfighter Training Readiness Solution (W-TRS) contract. The role focuses on installation, testing, and maintenance of Threat-Integrated Air Defense Systems (T-IADS) and related equipment for the Army aviation fleet.

The successful candidate will report to the site lead as SME for maintenance standards.

Qualifications

• AA or 3 years equivalent education.
• 3+ years of related experience maintaining US Army TADSS.
• Experience using technical manuals, schematics and drawings.
• Ability to travel up to 75% and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Installation, testing, removing and maintaining Threat-Integrated Air Defense Systems (T-IADS) kits and equipment for the Army aviation fleet.
• Troubleshoot and repair military simulators using multimeters and other test equipment.
• Travel TDY to CONUS/OCONUS locations to support Army Aviation fleet training.
• Apply technical data and manuals to restore equipment operations.
• Maintain documentation in MIS for work orders and GFP property.
• Report maintenance issues and updates to supervisor.
• Maintain GFP hardware/software per manuals; manage patches and installs.
• Inspect and inventory equipment before/after live fire training events.
• Support cross-training plan to align with other W-TRS TADSS.
• May supervise junior technicians when required.
