Job summary

M.C. Dean in Tysons, VA, seeks an Electronics Technician 3 to join its Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit.

You will perform on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting and commissioning of electronic security systems for federal, local, and commercial clients. The role requires a HS diploma or GED, electronics program or apprenticeship, and 6+ years of related experience, with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Requires a Valid driver's license.
• HS diploma or GED is required.
• Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program or an Electrical Apprenticeship program.
• An additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities.
• 6+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems.
• Conducts site surveys, configures hardware and software, tests systems for proper operation, and provides technical support to customers.
• Leads commissioning efforts and represents M.C. Dean in meetings with owners and design teams.
• Ensures safety and quality control through established QC plans and checklists.
