Saalex Solutions - A Saalex Company in Camarillo, CA seeks an Electronics Technician to support assembly, integration, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems for development and production programs.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of hands-on electronics experience, cable fabrication expertise, and the ability to read schematics. Onsite work with DoD, aerospace, or defense environments is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in electronics or related technical roles.
• Experience fabricating cables, wiring harnesses, and electrical assemblies for power, signal, RF, and data systems.
• Experience integrating electrical systems, sensors, telemetry equipment, embedded electronics, and communications systems.
• Ability to perform electrical testing, validation, troubleshooting, and fault isolation using standard electrical test equipment.
• Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of electrical safety practices, industry standards, and quality assurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Build, wire, fabricate, and integrate electrical and electronic systems for developmental and production projects.
• Perform cable fabrication, harness assembly, and connector installation for power, signal, RF, and data systems.
• Support integration of power distribution systems, embedded electronics, sensors, telemetry systems, and related subsystem components.
• Collaborate with engineers to support electrical system assembly, integration, testing, and iterative modifications.
• Conduct bench testing, validation, system checkout, and performance verification using electrical test equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and system integration challenges in lab and field environments.
• Support installation and integration of electrical systems on testbeds and range infrastructure.
• Assist with developmental network and communication system setups for test and evaluation.
• Perform preventive maintenance, repair, calibration, and sustainment of equipment.
• Document wiring changes, modifications, and test results per program requirements.
