Job summary

BSI Components and Repair seeks a Senior Electronics Repair Technician with 5+ years of experience to perform high-level analysis, component replacement, and repair of large industrial PCBs. The role emphasizes microscope soldering, diagnostic testing, and documenting procedures.

Ideal candidates will interpret schematics, troubleshoot effectively, and contribute to process improvements while communicating clearly in written and verbal form.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an electronics repair technician.
• In-depth knowledge of low-power electronics and circuitry and PCB repair.
• Proficient soldering under a microscope with good manual dexterity (0201 components).
• Proficient in using oscilloscopes and other testing/diagnosis equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Must be an articulate communicator (verbal and written), and self-motivated.
• Strong computer skills (e.g. Gmail, Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Analyze, replace components, and repair large industrial PCBs.
• Perform electronics part-level inspection, analysis, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and replacement.
• Create detailed build procedures.
• Provide innovative solutions by thinking through problems.
• Create/update documentation to improve proficiency and efficiency.
• Apply troubleshooting skills and suggest process improvements.
• Interpret electronic schematics and PCB layouts.
