Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor seeks skilled Electronics Technicians to join the In-House Repair team. You will diagnose failures, repair electronics assemblies, and ensure critical fab tools run at peak performance.

Expect to master high-precision soldering, flying-probe testing, and formal troubleshooting procedures in a fast-paced environment. Base pay ranges from $31 to $46 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and potential incentive programs.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma with minimum 15 years experience.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and symbols.
• Proficiency in through-hole, SMT, and micro-soldering.
• Strong understanding of electronic components and circuit operation.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and create repair procedures.
• Experience with Digital Multimeter functions and applications.
• Strict adherence to all safety standards and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate test equipment like oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and multimeters to diagnose and repair issues with electronics assemblies.
• Operate a Flying Probe for testing and test sequence programming.
• Apply electronic theory of operation principles and troubleshooting best practices.
• Create, update, and implement formal troubleshooting procedures.
• Perform micro-soldering and SMT precision repair.
