Job summary

Air Force Test Center is seeking a Full-Time General Engineer (NH-0801-03) at Edwards Air Force Base to plan, develop, and field new test capabilities for Electronic Attack, EW protections, and related avionics systems.

Responsibilities include managing major and minor acquisitions for EA/EP/EW programs, TDY travel, and coordinating with diverse engineering teams. A bachelor-level ABET engineering degree and Top-Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in RF equipment design desired.
• 2 years of experience in EW test desired.
• 2 years of acquisition related experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a systems manager and lead development of test and evaluation capabilities for the EW Group.
• Coordinate with engineers, scientists, technicians and contractors on ground test technical matters.
• Formulate project management direction and test philosophy for EW capabilities development.
• Lead program teams and gather customer needs, organize requirements and present projects to stakeholders.
