Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires two years progressive experience in the specific field or a two-year technical institute program.

• Experience with optical tracking instruments (LATS, MATS, VTMs, DOAMS) and their computer control systems is required.
• Familiarity with protocols (Ethernet, RS-232), OSs, optics software, and office software (word processing/spreadsheets).

Responsibilities

• Operate, troubleshoot, repair, and install electronic/electro-mechanical equipment on optical tracking systems.
• Set up and maintain instrumentation and control PCs and related hardware.
• Provide technical guidance to lower-level technicians and issue operating instructions.
