Job summary

Electrolux in North America is seeking a Senior Product Care Engineer / Specialist – Electromechanical based in Kinston, NC. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical, or related engineering field.
• 3–7 years in product development, preferably electromechanical systems or consumer appliances.
• Experience with injection-molded plastic part design, electromechanical integration, and validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, redesign, and validation of mechanical components for the plastic tub dishwasher platform.
• Identify cost-out opportunities through VA/VE and supplier proposals.
• Lead root-cause analysis and implement design changes to improve quality and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with Global R&D to share learnings and align on quality tools.
• Coordinate with global suppliers and manufacturing teams for feasible, scalable solutions.
• Provide updates to stakeholders and participate in design reviews and gates.
