Luminary AI is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to lead physics-focused engagements with our customer teams. You will own the technical delivery of Physics AI solutions, translating engineering challenges into robust simulation campaigns and surrogate models, and guiding data generation and model validation alongside AI/ML scientists.

Qualifications

• PhD in Electrical Engineering or Physics with hands-on depth in high-frequency or RF/microwave engineering.
• Proficient in Python and ML frameworks; hands-on with Physics AI or surrogate modeling.
• Experience applying surrogate models to engineering simulation.
• Pre-sales or customer-facing delivery experience and ability to run technical evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of Physics AI engagements as the resident physics expert on the value delivery team.
• Translate customer engineering problems into simulation campaigns and surrogate model architectures.
• Run simulations to generate training data and validate fidelity with customer SMEs.
• Collaborate with AI/ML scientists on model selection, training, and validation against ground-truth simulations.
• Work with data and platform engineers to integrate models into production workloads.
• Travel to customer sites to support deployment and reviews.
