Job summary

Dematic in Ocala, FL is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 3 to handle daily troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenance on material handling equipment. You will mentor colleagues as needed and support site operations.

The role requires 2-3 years of electro-mechanical experience, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and flexibility to work the Thursday–Saturday 6 am–6:30 pm shift with overtime as needed; safety and reliability are emphasized.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or vocational training preferred.
  • 2–3 years of troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds; occasional 100 pounds with aids.
  • Stand/walk up to 10–12 hours; flexible for shifts and overtime.
  • Experience with MHE repair and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Repair and maintenance of Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
  • Complete preventative maintenance routines and documentation.
  • Troubleshoot electrical circuitry with test equipment.
  • Create and close work orders with labor, parts, and data.
  • Troubleshoot semi-complex problems and identify resources needed.
  • Locate and track spare parts from inventory.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships across the organization.
