Job summary

D&P designs, produces and installs complex museum, exhibition and cultural experiences across the United States. A Senior Electrician is needed to support installation, commissioning and maintenance of electrical systems on projects.

This hands-on role requires working with AV technicians, project managers and fabricators to deliver safe, reliable and fully operational installations, with occasional travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Current Journeyman's or Master electrician license required.
• Hands-on experience with AV systems and low voltage work.
• Experience in commercial, AV, museum, or complex installation environments.
• Excellent knowledge of electrical systems, wiring and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installation, wiring, troubleshooting and maintenance on D&P projects.

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation.

The Role

D&P is looking for an experienced Senior Electrician to support the installation, commissioning and maintenance of electrical systems across our projects. This is a hands‑on role for someone who is technically strong, reliable and comfortable working on complex installations in coordination with AV technicians, project managers, fabricators and other trades.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installation, wiring, troubleshooting and maintenance on D&P projects.

Required Qualifications

• Current Journeyman's or Master's Electrical License required. Candidates coming from an engineering background may qualify with a degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) in lieu of licensure.
• Hands‑on experience working with AV systems and/or low voltage electrical work is important — this role sits at the intersection of electrical and AV, and candidates should be comfortable in both worlds.
• Strong professional experience as an electrician, ideally in commercial, AV, entertainment, museum, exhibition or complex installation environments.
• Excellent knowledge of electrical systems, wiring and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
